I am a graceful antelope – part dos

Today, I used the Translator application on my iPhone to learn how to say “Yo soy una sudoroso gacela.”

Or, “I am a sweaty gazelle.”  (It’s an inside joke, read all about it.)

My co-worker was pretty impressed that the application actually worked.  But if my high school Spanish serves me correctly, adjectives follow the noun.

“So shouldn’t it be ‘gacela sudoroso’?” I asked him.

He agreed – but not before demanding to know why I cared so much about Spanish grammar.

“Because.” I told him.  “If I say that to someone, I don’t want to look stupid.”

I suspect it’s a little too late for that, Sweaty Gazelle.  A little too late.
